Lebanese pop singer discovered through the televised talent competition Kass el-Nojoum in 1998.
Yara was discovered by composer Tarek Abou Jaoudeh after winning the LBC competition Kass el-Nojoum, who went on to produce her early singles and select her stage name. Her 2005 debut album Twassa Feyi launched a long career in mainstream Lebanese pop, and she has also served as an ambassador for the Lebanese Red Cross.
