Mohammad Rayan Bailouni is a Syrian-British producer, multi-instrumentalist and engineer based in Dubai. A biotechnologist by training, he left a pharmaceutical career to make music full-time, building an audience through Beat Lab, his long-running series of original productions. He fronts the Dubai metal band Coat of Arms as guitarist and vocalist, and his production work includes Alter Ego, the EP that steered Iraqi singer-songwriter Shébani toward R&B and pop. Gulf News has called him 'the mad scientist' of the UAE music scene.
