Danny Hajjar is a music journalist of Lebanese descent, born and raised outside Boston, who served as the founding editor-in-chief of Rolling Stone MENA. He has written on Arabic music and the emerging wave of Arab artists for The New York Times, The Washington Post, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, GQ Middle East, and NPR, and curates the weekly newsletter Sa'alouni El Nas, covering music and culture from the Middle East and North Africa. He holds a B.A. in International Affairs and an M.A. in Global Communication from The George Washington University.
